Khyentse Foundation 2024 Prize for Outstanding Translation: "Until Nirvana's Time"

Professor Trent Walker, who was a postdoctoral fellow at the Ho Center for Buddhist Studies at Stanford from 2020 to 2023, is the winner of Khyentse Foundation 2024 prize for outstanding translation for his book Until Nirvana’s Time: Buddhist Songs from Cambodia (Shambhala Publications, 2022). Dr. Walker introduced, translated, and contextualized forty-five Dharma songs, which have inspired Cambodian Buddhist communities for generations. It is the first collection of traditional Cambodian Buddhist literature available in English. Congratulations!
