Congratulations to Trent Walker for Successfully Defending his Doctoral Thesis

Congratulations to our alumnus (BA 2010) and former HCBSS Research Fellow, Trent Walker, who successfully defended his doctoral dissertation, "Unfolding Buddhism: Communal Scripts, Localized Translations, and the Work of the Dying in Cambodian Chanted Leporellos," at U.C. Trent will spend the next two years on a Khyentse Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in Thailand, based at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
