Karyōbinga Shōmyō Kenkyūkai
Karyōbinga Shōmyō Kenkyūkai (literally ‘Karyōbinga Association for the Study of Ritual Chanting’) is an ensemble formed in 1980, made up of 90 Japanese Shingon priests from all over Japan. They perform shōmyō (liturgical Buddhist chanting) in Japan and around the world.
