Jack Kornfield: "Mindfulness, Love and Graceful Living in Fast Times"

Join us for an evening with Jack Kornfield PhD, one of the senior Buddhist teachers in America. Modern neuroscience and mindfulness have come together to show how we can live a wise and compassionate life. This is what the Dalai Lama calls learning "the science of mind." With clear teachings, systematic practices and practical stories we will explore the essence of Buddhist training, developing simple and necessary tools for navigating modern times with wisdom. We will learn to apply the foundations of mindfulness to our body, feelings, mind and relationships. And  understand the complementary training of the heart in lovingkindness for healing and well-being. Through the power of mindfulness, inner courage and loving awareness we will discover the possibility of resilience and gracious amidst life's inevitable changes.
